Pursuant to section 11(1) of the Commerce Act 1986, the Minister of Commerce and Consumer Affairs has amended the appointments to the Commerce Commission of:

Loretta Te Iriwaho Lovell

as an Associate Member, to remove the Water Services Entities Act 2022 and Water Services Economic Efficiency and Consumer Protection Act 2023 and add that this appointment is also in respect of matters arising under Local Government (Water Services Preliminary Arrangements) Act 2024, commencing on 23 September 2024 and ending on 30 May 2028, and of:

Nathan Gary Kendel Strong

as an Associate Member, to remove the Fair Trading Act 1986, Water Services Entities Act 2022 and Water Services Economic Efficiency and Consumer Protection Act 2023 and add that this appointment is also in respect of matters arising under Local Government (Water Services Preliminary Arrangements) Act 2024, commencing on 23 September 2024 and ending on 27 August 2027.

This notice shall be read together with Appointment of Associate Member to the Commerce Commission (New Zealand Gazette, 30 May 2023, Notice No. 2023-go2259), Appointment of Associate Member to the Commerce Commission (New Zealand Gazette, 1 July 2022, Notice No. 2022-go2627) and Amendment of Notices of Appointment of Associate Members of the Commerce Commission (New Zealand Gazette, 11 September 2023, Notice No. 2023-go4271).
