Notice of Dietitians Board Fees 2025
Pursuant to sections 130 – 133 of the Health Practitioners Competence Assurance Act 2003 (HPCAA), the Dietitians Board (“Board”) makes the following notice.
(1) This notice may be cited as the Notice of Dietitians Board Fees 2025 and shall come into force on 2 February 2026.
(2) This notice has the status of secondary legislation for the purposes of the Legislation Act 2019.
(3) The Dietitians Board (Fees), New Zealand Gazette, 21 February 2024, Notice No. 2024-sl693 is revoked.
The Dietitians Board sets its fees in the following Schedule.
All fees charged by the Board are non-refundable and are payable in $NZD (except where specified).
All fees specified in the Schedule are inclusive of goods and services tax (GST) of 15%.

Following consultation, the Board approved a new provisional scope of practice and changes to its prescribed qualifications (pathways to registration) in May 2025. The purpose of these changes is to simplify the registration process for overseas trained dietitians. The consultation included consultation on the fees required to cover the costs of the new registration pathways. The Board has provided a summary of the consultation responses on its website.

The Board approved the new fees at its May 2025 meeting. All other fees remain unchanged.
