Notice of Final Determinations on Assigning, Altering, and Discontinuing Official Antarctic Geographic Names

Pursuant to sections 10(1), 25 and 21(2) of the New Zealand Geographic Board (Ngā Pou Taunaha o Aotearoa) Act 2008, the New Zealand Geographic Board Ngā Pou Taunaha o Aotearoa (“Board”) gives notice of six Antarctic geographic feature names assigned or altered as official and one discontinued name as described in the Schedules below.

The Board’s final determinations on these Antarctic geographic feature names took effect on 27 February 2025.
