Corrigendum—Optometrists and Dispensing Opticians Board (Fees Amendment) Notice 2024

Under sections 130 to 133 of the Health Practitioners Competence Assurance Act 2003, the Optometrists and Dispensing Opticians Board (“Board”) gives notice that the fees and levies (GST included), set out in the Fees Schedule below, are payable effective from 1 February 2024.

Commencement

This notice comes into effect on 1 February 2024, and sets the updated schedule of fees and levies payable to the Board. The amendments relate to the APC fees payable for applications relating to the practising year commencing on 1 April 2024 and registration fees for applications received on or after 1 February 2024. All other fees remain unchanged.

As of 1 February 2024, the following notice is revoked: Optometrists and Dispensing Opticians (Fees) Notice 2023 (New Zealand Gazette, 11 January 2023, Notice No. 2023-gs24).

Application for a New Zealand or Australian trained graduate, registering for the first time within 12 months after graduating, and who has never registered in any other country or jurisdiction.
