COVID-19 Public Health Response (Authorisation of COVID-19 Orders) Notice (No 2) 2023
This notice is made by the Prime Minister under section 8(c) of the COVID-19 Public Health Response Act 2020 after being satisfied that there is a risk of an outbreak or the spread of COVID-19.

This notice comes into force on 28 April 2023.

By this notice, the Prime Minister authorises the use of orders made under the COVID-19 Public Health Response Act 2020 (“Act”) in relation to the following matters:
This notice comes into force on 28 April 2023 and will expire on 30 June 2023.
This notice replaces the COVID-19 Public Health Response (Authorisation of COVID-19 Orders) Notice 2023, New Zealand Gazette, 27 February 2023, Notice No. 2023-sl685, which authorised the use of orders under the Act in relation to self-isolation requirements for COVID-19 cases, regulation of point-of- care tests, and mask requirements in health service premises.
This notice is made by the Prime Minister after being satisfied that there is a risk of an outbreak or the spread of COVID-19.
The notice is one way in which the prerequisites for making a COVID-19 order under the Act can be satisfied.
