Section 37 of the Biosecurity Act 1993

Under section 37B(1)(c) of the Biosecurity Act 1993, I vary the approval, published in the New Zealand Gazette, 4 December 2019, Notice No. 2019-go5597, of South Port (located at Foreshore Road, Bluff and operated by South Port New Zealand Limited CN: 393437) as a place of first arrival to receive the following craft and cargo types subject to the limitations specified:

Limitations:

South Port is able to receive the following craft:

  • Commercial Vessels
  • Commercial Passenger Vessels
  • Defence Force Craft

that are able to discharge the following risk good types:

  • Container and General Cargo
  • Bulk Cargo (Approved systems)
  • Bulk Cargo (Non-approved systems)
  • Vehicles and Machinery
  • Passengers, Crew and their Personal Effects

A copy of the written notice of approval may be inspected or obtained at the Ministry for Primary Industries, Charles Fergusson Tower, 34–38 Bowen Street, Wellington.
