Notice of Final Determinations on Altering and Assigning Official Antarctic Geographic Names
Pursuant to sections 10(1), 25 and 21(2) of the New Zealand Geographic Board (Ngā Pou Taunaha o Aotearoa) Act 2008 the New Zealand Geographic Board Ngā Pou Taunaha o Aotearoa (“Board”) hereby gives notice of ten altered and 81 new Antarctic geographic names assigned as official as described in the Schedules below.
The last column in each Schedule has the reconfirmed, new or improved positions for the official names.
The Board’s final determinations on these official Antarctic geographic names took effect on 24 May 2018.
