Chiropractic Board Disciplinary Levy Notice 2018

Pursuant to sections 131–133 of the Health Practitioners Competence Assurance Act 2003 (“Act”), notice is given that a disciplinary levy is being collected from chiropractors holding an annual practising certificate for the 2018/2019 practising year.

Notice

  1. Title and commencement—
    1. This notice may be cited as the Chiropractic Board Disciplinary Levy Notice 2018 and shall come into force on 8 January 2018.
    2. This notice stands alone and the levy is in addition to the fees contained within New Zealand Gazette, 28 April 2011, No. 57, page 1339, which remains in force with the amendments included in New Zealand Gazette, 8 September 2016, Issue No. 79, Notice No. 2016-gs5115.
  2. Levy—The Chiropractic Board sets the following levy as specified in the Schedule below.
  3. Tax—The levy stated is inclusive of goods and services tax (GST).

Applicants who apply for a practising certificate on or after 1 November 2018 who have not previously held a practising certificate will pay an initial practising certificate disciplinary levy of $87.68.
