Pursuant to sections 130–133 of the Health Practitioners Competence Assurance Act 2003, the following notice is given.

Notice

1. Title and Commencement

(1) This notice may be cited as the Psychologists (Fees) Notice 2026.

(2) This notice comes into force 28 working days after the date of its publication in the New Zealand Gazette.

2. Fees

The New Zealand Psychologists Board sets the fees payable to the Board as specified in the schedule.

3. Tax

The fees specified in this notice are inclusive of goods and services tax.

4. Waiver

The New Zealand Psychologists Board may provide for the waiver or transfer of any fee or part thereof.

5. No Refund

Fees are not refundable where an application is declined or withdrawn.

6. Revocation

This notice revokes all previous Psychologists (Fees) Notices.

Key to Annotation

1. A current list of prescribed countries is maintained by the Board and published on its website.

2. Excepting applications for the Neuropsychologist scope of practice.

3. The fee may be adjusted if the accreditation review requires additional assessors, extended site visits, or further assessment work beyond the standard scope of review.
