Notice is hereby given that in accordance with section 322(1)(b) of the Civil Aviation Act 2023, the Director of Civil Aviation, has granted a class exemption: Permitting anyone applying for approval of a Category II or III precision approach procedure manual, or for changes to an already approved manual, to follow the manufacturer’s recommended testing and inspection schedule (as stated in the aircraft’s type certificate) instead of the intervals set by the rule on 3 December 2025.

This class exemption is secondary legislation for the purposes of Legislation Act 2019.

The administering agency responsible for administering this class exemption is the Civil Aviation Authority.
