Under section 37 of the Privacy Act 2020 (“Act”), and having complied with section 33 of the Act, I give notice that the Telecommunications Information Privacy Code 2020 Amendment No 1 (“Amendment”) was issued on 30 October 2025.

The Amendment will come into force on 8 December 2025.

The Amendment may be inspected free of charge from the Commissioner’s website www.privacy.org.nz or a copy can be requested from the Office of the Privacy Commissioner, PO Box 10094, Wellington.

The code is secondary legislation for the purposes of the Legislation Act 2019 and is administered by the Office of the Privacy Commissioner.
