1. Pursuant to section 24 of the Veterans’ Support Act 2014, the Minister for Veterans gives notice of the amendment of three Statements of Principles under the Veterans’ Support Regulations 2014.

2. The amendments are:

cardiomyopathy (53/2025 and 54/2025, to be read as compiled with 57/2024 and 58/2024)

systemic lupus erythematosus (55/2025, to be read as compiled with 48/2025).

3. The amendments take effect on 23 October 2025.

4. A notice of the amendments will be available from 23 October 2025 on the website of Veterans’ Affairs New Zealand at www.veteransaffairs.mil.nz/about-veterans-affairs/our-documents-and-publications/notices/amendments-to-statements-of-principles.

5. The amended Statement of Principles are available on the website of the Australian Government Repatriation Medical Authority www.rma.gov.au.
