On Monday 25 August 2025, pursuant to section 19(1) of the Crown Minerals Act 1991, the Governor-General of New Zealand, acting on the advice and with the consent of the Executive Council and on the recommendation of the Minister for Resources, issued the Minerals Programme for Minerals (Excluding Petroleum) Order 2025.

This Order:

1. issues the Minerals Programme for Minerals (Excluding Petroleum) 2025 (Minerals Programme), to come into force on 25 September 2025, and
2. revokes the Minerals Programme for Minerals (Excluding Petroleum) 2013 Order 2013.
