Pursuant to section 14 of the National Animal Identification and Tracing Act 2012, I, Sam McIvor, Chief Executive of National Animal Identification and Tracing (NAIT) Limited (acting as the NAIT organisation), give notice of amendment of the NAIT Animal Identification Devices Standard.

The amendments specified below take effect on Friday, 5 September 2025.

The amendments are as follows:

Amend clauses 2.8–2.11 and 2.15–2.20 to include one-piece devices.

Amend clause 2.25 to include one-piece devices.

Amend clause 2.27 to correct a drafting error.

Amend table 1 to remove a visual identification code format.

Amend clause 2.30 to remove the requirement for the NAIT Organisation to report on tag loss annually.
