Commencement—

The order will come into force on 1 July 2025.

Effect of the secondary legislation—

The order adjusts the Excise and excise-equivalent duties table to add two new items relating to residual fuels. Specifying these two items in the table allows for the Petroleum and Engine Fuel Monitoring Levy to be applied to residual fuel oil from 1 July 2025.
