Under the Legislation Act 2019, notice is given that the Minister for Food Safety adopted the following amendments to joint food standards of the Australia New Zealand Food Standards Code on 15 May 2025:

1. Amendments 235 and 236; and
2. Amendment 234 excluding the Schedule 18 permissions for 2-methyloxolane as an extraction solvent processing aid in infant formula products.

The joint food standard amendments were adopted in accordance with sections 397 and 400 of the Food Act 2014 and came into effect on 16 May 2025.
