Pursuant to section 6(1) of the Contraception, Sterilisation, and Abortion Act 1977, I, Casey Costello, hereby approve the International Standard “ISO 25841:2017 – Female Condoms – Requirements and Test Methods” for the purpose of manufacturing for sale or selling female condoms.

The approval shall take effect from 11 May 2025.

The standard “ISO 25841:2011 – Female Condoms – Requirements and Test Methods” appearing in the New Zealand Gazette, 3 April 2014, Notice No. 2014-go2111, is hereby revoked from 11 May 2025.
