Notice is given under section 161(1)(a) of the Land Transfer Act 2017 of an application under section 155 for record of title based on adverse possession on the grounds set out below.

A person claiming an estate or interest in the land described may lodge a caveat under section 162 of the Act to prevent the application from being granted on or before 30 March 2026. If no caveats are lodged, the record of title will be issued and existing estates and interests extinguished.

Application: Application 13217867.1 by Annette Lynley Selwood and Howard Nigel Selwood for land that adjoins to the east of 53 Stafford Street, Hampden, being 1011 square metres, more or less, and being Section 10 Block XIII Town of Hampden shown as Lot 2 LT 616298 in Record of Title OT16/209 owned by Robert Walker Familton and 1011 square metres, more or less, and being Section 13 Block XIII Town of Hampden shown as Lot 1 LT 616298 in Record of Title OT8B/70 owned by Alexander Churtain McKay in the Otago Land District.

Grounds: The applicants claim to have been in continuous adverse possession of the land for 24 years.
