Notice is given under section 161(1)(a) of the Land Transfer Act 2017 of an application under section 155 for record of title based on adverse possession on the grounds set out below.

A person claiming an estate or interest in the land described may lodge a caveat under section 162 of the Act to prevent the application from being granted on or before 25 February 2026. If no caveats are lodged, the record of title will be issued and existing estates and interests extinguished.

Application: Application 13225104.1 by Avon Glen Forests Limited for land north of Wilkinson Road Waihola, being 16.6994 hectares more or less and being Section 2 of 7 Block III Clarendon Survey District shown as Lot 1 on Land Transfer Plan 617369, in Record of Title OT37/216 in the Otago Land District owned by George William Eliott subject to a mortgage (9500) to William Thomas Bell.

Grounds: The applicant claims to have been in continuous adverse possession of the land for over 30 years.
