Notice is given under section 161(1)(a) of the Land Transfer Act 2017 of an application under section 155 for record of title based on adverse possession on the grounds set out below.

A person claiming an estate or interest in the land described may lodge a caveat under section 162 of the Act to prevent the application from being granted on or before 26 September 2025. If no caveats are lodged, the record of title will be issued and existing estates and interests extinguished.

Application: Application 12946388.2 by Koichi Yasuda for 9 Wakatipu Heights, Queenstown being 690 square metres more or less and being Lot 2 Deposited Plan 13007 in Record of Title OT5C/76 in the Otago Land Registration District owned by K.D.F. Corporation Pty Limited.

Grounds: The applicant claims to have been in continuous adverse possession of the land for over 20 years.
