Pursuant to section 16 of the Reserves Act 1977 and pursuant to a resolution made on 30 July 2025 and acting under an instrument of delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Central Otago District Council hereby classifies the reserves:

1. described in the First Schedule hereto, subject to any existing encumbrance lien or interest, as Local Purpose (accessway) Reserve, subject to the provisions of the said Act.
2. described in the Second Schedule hereto, subject to any existing encumbrance lien or interest, as Local Purpose (amenity) Reserve, subject to the provisions of the said Act.
3. described in the Third Schedule hereto, subject to any existing encumbrance lien or interest, as Local Purpose (parking) Reserve, subject to the provisions of the said Act.
4. described in the Fourth Schedule hereto, subject to any existing encumbrance lien or interest, as Local Purpose (esplanade) Reserve, subject to the provisions of the said Act.
5. described in the Fifth Schedule hereto, subject to any existing encumbrance lien or interest, as Recreation Reserve, subject to the provisions of the said Act.
6. described in the Sixth Schedule hereto, subject to any existing encumbrance lien or interest, as Scenic Reserve for the purposes of section 19(1)(a), subject to the provisions of the said Act.
