Pursuant to section 16(1) of the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, Waikato District Council, pursuant to a resolution passed at its meeting on 3 December 2024, hereby classifies the reserve described in the Schedule as a Local Purpose (Cemetery) Reserve, subject to the provisions of the Act and declares that the reserve be known as Whangarata Urupā (Cemetery).
