New Zealand Bee Health & Biosecurity (NZBB), as management agency for the National American Foulbrood Pest Management Plan hereby notifies, as prescribed in the Biosecurity (American Foulbrood – Beekeeper Levy) Order 2003, that the levy for the 2026–2027 levy year will be as follows.

The levy rate will be (excluding GST):

1. base levy of $40.00 per beekeeper; and
2. per bee colony levy of $1.95 owned as of 31 March 2026.
