Pursuant to section 94B of the Civil Defence Emergency Management Act 2002, I, Robin Hugh Scott, give notice of a local transition period over Southland region owing to the severe weather event in Southland in October 2025.

This transition period comes into force at 9.00am on Friday, 7 November 2025 which is the time and date when the state of emergency declared at 9.00am, Friday, 31 October 2025 for Southland region expires.

This transition period is in force for 28 days and ends at 9.00am on Friday, 5 December 2025, unless extended or terminated earlier.
