Pursuant to Section 94D of the Civil Defence Emergency Management Act 2002

I, Tim King extend the local transition period over the area of Tasman District Council owing to the effects of the severe weather events in June 2025 and July 2025.

This extension of the transition period:

1. comes into force immediately before 4.47pm on Thursday, 9 October 2025, which is when the current transition period ends;
2. is in force for 28 days;
3. ends at 4.47pm on Thursday, 6 November 2025, unless terminated or further extended earlier.

This corrigendum replaces the notice published in the New Zealand Gazette, 13 October 2025, Notice No. 2025-gs5770, which incorrectly stated “comes into force immediately before 4.47pm on Thursday, 9 November 2025”.
