Pursuant to Section 94B, Civil Defence Emergency Management Act 2002, I, Nadine Patricia Taylor, give notice of a local transition period over Marlborough District owing to the district-wide impacts from severe weather requiring coordinated response.

This transition period:

1. comes into force at 3.30pm on 4 July 2025, which is the time and date when the state of emergency declared at 3.30pm on 27 June 2025 expires;
2. is in force for 28 days, and
3. ends at 3.30pm on 1 August 2025 unless extended or terminated earlier.
