I, Mayor Phil Mauger, give notice of a local transition period over Banks Peninsula owing to the high rainfall, the landslide near Lighthouse Road and other weather-related risks.

This transition period—

1. comes into force at 3.00pm on 12 May 2025 which is the time and date when this notice is given;
2. is in force for 28 days;
3. ends at 3.00pm on 2 June 2025, unless extended or terminated earlier.
