Pursuant to section 160(3) of the Crown Entities Act 2004 (CEA), I, Bernice Smith, Senior Solicitor, The Treasury, give notice that, with effect from 24 August 2025 the Right Honourable Winston Peters, Minister for Rail, the Honourable Nicola Willis, Minister of Finance and the Honourable Christopher Bishop, Minister of Transport, gave approval under section 160(1)(b) of the CEA to Ferry Holdings Limited (Ferry Holdings) providing:

an indemnity to Port Marlborough New Zealand Limited (PMNZ) in connection with early port works to support delivery of port infrastructure by 2029.
