Under section 212M of the Education and Training Act 2020, I hereby notify that the Charter School Agency, acting in the name and on behalf of the Crown, and Te Aratika Charitable Trust have entered into a contract for the establishment of Te Aratika High School as a charter school.

The sponsor of the charter school is Te Aratika Charitable Trust, and the school will be located at 23 Giles Lane, Mangateretere, Hastings.

The school will be a composite offering year levels 7 through 13, co-educational school.

The school will open in 2026 with year levels 7 through 10, and phasing in year levels 11 through 13 in 2027.

Education will be delivered on site.
