Pursuant to section 41 of Te Ture mō te Reo Māori 2016, the Minister for Māori Development has appointed

Mahanga Pihama

as a member of Te Taura Whiri i te Reo Māori for a term of three years commencing on 26 September 2025 and expiring on 25 September 2028; and appointed

Dr Jeremy MacLeod

as Deputy Chair of Te Taura Whiri i te Reo Māori for the remainder of his term commencing on 26 September 2025 and expiring on 1 September 2026.
