Pursuant to section 282(2) of the Lawyers and Conveyancers Act 2006, Her Excellency the Governor-General of New Zealand has been pleased to appoint:

His Honour Judge James Johnston, National Executive Judge

as a member of the New Zealand Council of Legal Education for a term of three years commencing on 2 October 2025 and ending on 1 October 2028.
