Pursuant to section 170(3) of the Education and Training Act 2020 and acting with delegated authority from the Minister of Education, I hereby extend the period for the selection of a returning officer and all subsequent actions in accordance with the Education (Board Elections) Regulations 2022 for the election of the staff representative for Te Puna Wai o Waipapa – Hagley College (336) Board, as follows:

Appointment of returning officer by Wednesday, 27 August 2025.

The Main Roll will close at noon on Wednesday, 3 September 2025.

Calling for Nominations to be completed by Friday, 5 September 2025.

The Supplementary Roll will close at noon on Monday, 22 September 2025.

Nominations will close at noon on Wednesday, 24 September 2025.

Voting papers for the election will be issued by Wednesday, 1 October 2025.

Voting for the election will now close at 4.00pm on Wednesday, 29 November 2025.

The acceptance of postal votes will close on Monday, 3 November 2025.

The counting of Votes will be completed on Tuesday, 4 November 2025.

The representative takes office on Wednesday, 5 November 2025.

This notice takes effect the day of publication.
