Pursuant to regulation 39(1) of the Misuse of Drugs Regulations 1977, I, Chris James, Group Manager, Medsafe, acting on delegated authority from the Director-General of Health, approve the system described as follows for the recording of controlled drugs transactions.

This approval is issued to Modeus Pty Ltd, and is subject to the following conditions:

1. The approval may be amended or revoked by the Director-General of Health (or delegate) at any time in writing.
2. Additional operating conditions:
1. The approval is applicable only to transactions of controlled drugs made by licensed pharmacies.
2. Modeus Pty Ltd is required to promptly notify Medsafe of any significant issues or incidents relating to the recording system, and any major updates (where the functionality is significantly changed) made to the recording system.
