Under section 212M of the Education and Training Act 2020, I hereby notify that the Charter School Agency, acting in the name and on behalf of the Crown, and He Puna Marama Charitable Trust have entered into a contract for the establishment of Te Kāpehu Whetū–Tamaki as a charter school.

The sponsor of the charter school is He Puna Marama Charitable Trust, and the school is located in Auckland Central with Boarding facilities in Parnell, Auckland.

The school will be a Year 11–13 co-educational school offering boarding facilities.

Education will be delivered on site.
