Under section 212M of the Education and Training Act 2020, I hereby notify that the Charter School Agency, acting in the name and on behalf of the Crown, and New Zealand Forest Schools Limited have entered into a contract for the establishment and operation of The Forest School as a charter school.

The sponsor of the charter school is New Zealand Forest Schools Limited, and the school is located in Warkworth, Auckland.

The school will be a Year 0–8 co-educational school. It will open with Year 0–6 and grow a year level each year to be Year 0–8 in 2028.

Education will be delivered on site.
