Building product specifications for use in complying with acceptable solutions or verification methods

Pursuant to sections 25B(1) of the Building Act 2004 (“Act”), I give notice that the Building Product Specifications, which may be referred to in one or more acceptable solutions or verification methods, have been issued on 28 July 2025 for the following types of building products:

  • those used in sitework,
  • structural elements including concrete, steel, and timber elements,
  • cladding, windows, doors, and insulation,
  • internal wall and ceiling linings,
  • heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) systems, and
  • those with designated fire characteristics related to the properties of the materials or fire resistance or used as closures, external wall cladding, linings, coverings, or ducts for HVAC systems.
