This notice is the Electricity Hazards from Trees (Appointment of Tree Arbitrator) Notice 2025.

2. Commencement

This notice commences on 19 July 2025.

3. Appointment

Bradley Graham Cadwallader of Nelson is appointed as a tree arbitrator for the term specified in clause 4 of this notice.

4. Term

The term of appointment is from 19 July 2025 until 19 July 2028.

Explanatory Note

This note is for explanatory purposes only.

This notice appoints a person who meets the necessary specialist knowledge and experience requirements as arbitrator for the purposes of the Electricity (Hazards from Trees) Regulations 2003.

Under Regulation 22 of the Electricity (Hazards from Trees) Regulations 2003 a tree owner can apply to an arbitrator to determine a dispute between the tree owner and a network owner for the terms of dispensation.
