Notice of Application to Register a Trade Name Product (Notice No. MPI ACVM 90)
Notice is given under section 14(1) of the Agricultural Compounds and Veterinary Medicines Act 1997 (“Act”), of the following application to register a trade name product under section 9(1) of the Act:

Active Ingredients and Concentrations:
Contains monensin sodium, equivalent to 80g/kg monensin activity, and nicarbazin 80g/kg
Formulation Type: Granule
Application method/administration route:
Oral. Must be thoroughly mixed in feeds before use. Quantity of Monimax incorporated into the feed (g/ton): 500–625
Use Claim:
Broiler Chickens: For use in broiler chickens, as an aid in the prevention of coccidiosis caused by Eimeria acervulina, E.maxima, E.tenella, E. brunetti, E. necatrix, E. mitis and E. praecox.
Growing Turkeys: For use in turkeys up to 16 weeks of age, as an aid in the prevention of coccidiosis caused by Eimeria adenoides, E. dispersa, and E.meleagrimitis.
Any person may make a written submission to the Director-General concerning this application.
