Under section 37(1) of the Biosecurity Act 1993, I vary the approval, published in the New Zealand Gazette, 8 December 2005, No. 204, page 5173 of Port of Gisborne (located at Crawford Road, Gisborne and operated by Eastland Port Limited, Company No.: 1225088) as a place of first arrival to receive the following craft and cargo types subject to the limitations specified:

Limitations:

Port of Gisborne is able to receive the following craft:

  • Commercial Vessels
  • Commercial Passenger Vessels
  • Defence Force Craft

that are able to discharge the following cargo types:

  • Passengers, Crew and their Personal Effects
  • Containers (with no General Cargo).

A copy of the written notice of approval may be inspected or obtained at the Ministry for Primary Industries, Charles Fergusson Building, 38–42 Bowen Street, Wellington.
