Notice Declaring an Aquaculture Settlement Area in Eastern Bay of Plenty (Bay of Plenty Region) for the Purposes of the Maori Commercial Aquaculture Claims Settlement Act 2004 (Notice No. MPI 1909)

This notice is made under section 12 of the Maori Commercial Aquaculture Claims Settlement Act 2004.

1. Title

This notice is the Notice Declaring an Aquaculture Settlement Area in the Eastern Bay of Plenty Region.

2. Commencement

This notice comes into force on the day it is gazetted.

3. New Area Declared for Settlement Purposes

Under section 12(1) of the Act, the Minister for Oceans and Fisheries declares one new Aquaculture Settlement Area in the Eastern Bay of Plenty. The boundaries of the new Aquaculture Settlement Area are represented by the coordinates set out below:
