Take notice that the Commissioner of Inland Revenue has filed a notice of proceeding, statement of claim and list of documents relied on in the Tauranga District Court under CIV-2023-070-746. A substituted service has been obtained by the Commissioner of Inland Revenue dispensing with personal service of the proceeding, instead requiring service by advertisement in the Bay of Plenty Times and New Zealand Gazette.

This notice advises you that unless, within 25 working days after this notice, you file in the registry of this court a statement of your defence to the plaintiff’s claim, the plaintiff may proceed to a hearing and judgment on the plaintiff’s claim in your absence.
