In accordance with section 161(2) of the Land Transport Act 1998, NZ Transport Agency Waka Kotahi, on behalf of the Minister of Transport, gives notice of the Minister’s intention to make the Land Transport Rule: Vehicle Standards Compliance Amendment 2025 (“draft Rule”), which is now available for public comment.

The draft Rule proposes to amend the Land Transport Rule: Vehicle Standards Compliance 2002.

Any interested person may make a submission on the draft Rule before 5.00pm on 4 April 2025.
