In accordance with section 45(1) of the Maritime Security Act 2004, I, Graham MacLean, the Deputy Chief Executive Response, Security and Safety Services, by delegated authority under the Instrument of Delegation dated 11 December 2023, hereby designate the following areas of Russell Wharf when operated by Far North Holdings Limited as a port security area:

  • Number 4 pontoon (P4)
  • The access ramp to the number 4 pontoon (P4)
  • All parts of the Russell Wharf finger south of the access ramps to number 5 pontoon (P5) and number 6 pontoon (P6), being approximately 16.5 meters along that Wharf finger. A security point will be set at the start of this area, after the access ramps to number 5 pontoon (P5) and number 6 pontoon (P6).

Number 3 pontoon (P3) and access ramp will not be a part of the port security area, however, will be authorised access only, given access to this area is via the above designated port security area.

This designation comes into effect the day after the date this notice was signed.
