Under section 452 of the Maritime Transport Act 1994, Maritime New Zealand gives notice:

A. that the Maritime Rules Amendments 2025 (No 3), made on 10 December 2025 and coming into effect on 28 January 2026, incorporates the following material by reference, coming into effect at the same time:

A1. Exemption GE-13-20 issued by the Director on 5 August 2020, in rules 41.2, 41.4(3)(a), and 41.5(3)(a)

A2. clause 2.3.3.2 of Part C Subsection 7D of the Australian National Standard for Commercial Vessels, as it was on 5 August 2020, in rules 41.2, 41.4(3)(a), and 41.5(3)(a)

B. that the Maritime Rules Amendments 2025 (No 3), made on 10 December 2025 and coming into effect on 31 March 2026, incorporates the following material by reference, coming into effect at the same time:
