Maritime Rules

Pursuant to section 452 of the Maritime Transport Act 1994, Maritime New Zealand gives notice that the Maritime Rules Amendments 2025 (No 2), made on 8 October 2025 and coming into effect on 1 December 2025, incorporates the following material by reference, coming into effect at the same time:

  1. Revised Guidelines for the Preparation of the Cargo Securing Manual adopted by the IMO by MSC.1/Circ.1353/Rev.2, in rule 24B.5(1)(b)(i)

Pursuant to section 452 of the Maritime Transport Act 1994, Maritime New Zealand gives notice that the Marine Protection Rules Amendments 2025, made on 8 October 2025 and coming into effect on 1 December 2025, incorporates the following material by reference, coming into effect at the same time:
