In accordance with section 161(2) of the Land Transport Act 1998, NZ Transport Agency Waka Kotahi, on behalf of the Minister of Transport, gives notice of the Minister’s intention to make the Land Transport Rule: Heavy Vehicle Productivity Reform Amendment 2025 (“draft Rule”), which is now available for public comment.

The draft Rule proposes to amend the Land Transport Rule: Heavy Vehicles 2004 and the Land Transport Rule: Vehicle Dimensions and Mass 2016.

Any interested person may make a submission on the draft Rule before midnight on 17 December 2025.
