In accordance with section 220 of the Health and Safety at Work Act 2015, I, Sharon Thompson, give notice that I have exempted Koppers Performance Chemicals New Zealand Limited from compliance with clause 19 of Schedule 7 of the Health and Safety at Work (Major Hazard Facilities) Regulations 2016 in so far as this clause requires a statement on a safety case to be signed by the most senior officer of the operator in New Zealand.

This exemption takes effect on 21 October 2025 and expires on 21 October 2030 unless it is replaced sooner or revoked.
