Pursuant to subclause 4.6(1) of Land Transport Rule: Light-vehicle Brakes 2002 (“Rule”), and pursuant to the powers delegated to me by the Director of Land Transport, New Zealand Transport Agency, I, William Phillip Hyslop, Senior Engineer, Regulatory Technical Team, hereby approve the brake testing device specified in the Schedule to this notice for the purpose of measuring brake performance of light vehicles to establish compliance with the requirements contained in the Rule.
