Pursuant to section 61(3) of the Government Roading Powers Act 1989, and section 22AB of the Land Transport Act 1998, the NZ Transport Agency hereby makes the following bylaw.

Bylaw

1. Title and Commencement

This bylaw is the New Zealand Transport Agency (Traffic Controls on State Highways) Amendment Bylaw 2024/006 and will come into force on 12 May 2025.

2. Amendments

The New Zealand Transport Agency (Traffic Controls on State Highways) Bylaw 2017/14* is hereby amended by:

• Inserting line 101 in Schedule 9, Part N to read:

“Line No.: 101

Locality: Ōpunakē
From: NZTM 1673789,5632528, approximately 39m west of intersection with Havelock Street
To: NZTM 1673804,5632520, 56m west of intersection with Havelock Street

Side of Road: Left
Restriction: Bus Stop
Time period: At all times.”

• Inserting line 102 in Schedule 9, Part N to read:

From: NZTM 1673797,5632507, approximately 37m west of intersection with Havelock Street
To: NZTM 1673788,5632512, 49m west of intersection with Havelock Street
Route Position (Midpoint): RS/RP 48/14.75
Direction of travel: Westbound
Side of Road: Right
Restriction: Bus Stop
Time period: At all times.”

This note is not part of the bylaw but is intended to indicate its general effect.

This bylaw will come into force on 12 May 2025 and will amend the New Zealand Transport Agency (Traffic Controls on State Highways) Bylaw 2017/14*.
