Notification of Commencement of Investigation Under Clause 1(5) of Schedule 3 of the Telecommunications Act 2001 into Deregulation of Mobile Termination Access Services
The Commerce Commission (“Commission”) gives public notice under clause 1(6) of Schedule 3 of the Telecommunications Act 2001 (“Act”) that the Commission has commenced an investigation under clause 1(5) of Schedule 3 of the Act into whether Mobile Termination Access Services should be omitted from Schedule 1 under section 66(1)(b) of the Act.
On 25 March 2025, the Commission decided under clause 1(3) of the Act that there are reasonable grounds for commencing the investigation.
